Prepacked Preserved Emerald Shiners

Salted Emerald Shiners are sold in 3 oz. bags

Small/Med. Shiners are 1 3/4″ to 2 1/2″ in length.  Approximately 30-40 per bag.

Large Shiners are 2 3/4″ plus in length.  Approximately 15-20 per bag.

Salted Emerald Shiners are killed in a salt brine solution and cure in fine salt.  They are excellent fishing bait for trout and yellow perch.  Great when you don’t want to carry a bucket around or you can’t use live bait.  We have been preserving shiners for 30 years and guarantee these are they best quality you have ever used.  They are grated for size and preserved fresh from the lake.  We don’t preserve bait that has already died because they lose their color and do not last as long.  These minnows will last for months on the shelf or for a year if frozen.  Plus the salt keeps them from freezing together and turning to mush when thawed.

Emerald Shiners are guaranteed VHSv free.  Certification is available upon request.
